Established in 2018, The Bangkok Tigers shall be coming in as debutants in the ABL 2023 season but they vow to be fierce competitors right from the start.
The Tigers are looking forward to a better run in the 2023 season, after finishing third in the TBL where they faced tough oppositions including former ABL champions Hi-Tech Bangkok City.
Hong Kong Eastern
Coming back for more in the 2023 season. the Hong Kong Eastern Long Lions are aiming to fly high once again. Hong Kong Eastern have always been tough competitors, never missing a Semi-Finals appearance since joining the league.
The Long Lions will always be remembered for taking the ABL by storm and winning the title in their very first season back in 2016-17.
Louvre Surabaya
After a successful playoff run in the Indonesia Basketball League (IBL), Lourve Surabaya are now looking to challenge teams at the international stage here in the ABL.
Lourve will bring ABL action back to Surabaya, the City of Heroes, where they hope to open the gates and provide good opportunities of up and coming basketball players in the country.
Macau Black Bears
Being around since the 2017-18 season, the Macau Black Bears have been a constant threat for the top teams in the ABL and are looking to shoot for the top spot in the 2023 season.
In its first season in the ABL, the Black Bears (formerly known as Chong Son Kung Fu) made a mark by finishing first in the regular season. The team will be looking to replicate and even exceed that level of success in the upcoming season.
NS Matrix Malaysia

One of the inaugural teams of the ASEAN Basketball League, Singapore Slingers have always been a tough competitor in the region.
The Slingers are the only team to have made it to three ABL Finals, while also securing the most amount of wins with 125, and are always hungry
for more.
Zamboanga Valientes
Established in 2006, the Zamboanga Valientes represent the Filipino basketball in the ABL.
Prior to joining the ABL, Zamboanga Valientes made their mark in the 3x3 scene by winning the 2020-21 Chooks-To-Go Pilipinas 3x3 President's Cup in the Philippines and also participating in the 2021 ABL 3x3 International Champions Cup in Indonesia.
